The village of Skirlaugh is nine miles from Hull and Beverley, 20 miles South of Bridlington and seven miles
from Hornsea. The school is located just off the A165 (Hull Road) main Hull to Bridlington road, pleasantly
situated in the centre of private housing.
Since the schools foundation in 1968, a Nursery unit and a building housing two new classrooms have been added
to the site. The school has a large playing field, a quad and a playground.
At present, there are 142 on roll and 26 part-time nursery places available. There is a Reception / Year 1,
Year 2, mixed Year 3 and Year 4, Year 4 and Year 5 and a Year 6 class.
There is an Administration Officer, Part-time Secretary, Caretaker and five Child Support Assistants.
School lunches are cooked on site and there are four midday Supervisory Staff.
