This year our sport teams have been very busy! Our footballers have played numerous matches against local teams. We also played in the Hull City football in the community tournament and both pupils and parents had a superb evening at the KC Stadium. We are currently playing in a league with local schools from the Beverley and Hornsea Clusters. So far we have won eveRy match and are currently top of the league.
We have purchased much new equipment, a new shed for resources and this term the PTFA are buying a new football strip and a permanent basket ball net for the playground. We love to keep fit at Skirlaugh!
Our cricket, rugby and hockey teams are also playing matches. Judo clubs takes place on a Wednesday evening.
We have strong links with many local teah eg. South Holderness Swimming and we share achievements regularly in our assemblies. |
